After the 2014 season, two players decided they were going to take the reigns from two graduating seniors and try to turn to revamp the program. They started with three main ideas: schedule appropriate skill level games, equip the team with a full mathcing uniform, and to build the program's numbers. Through the offseason, these goals proved to useful as the switch into the National Lacrosse League allowed closer and more appropriate skill level matches against teams that Carnegie Mellon already played in other sports, such as Case Western. Uniforms and equipment became quite an allure for recruitment as many could not resist the shiny new helmets and gloves. Finally the numbers started to materialize as the New Year started. After this season went smoothly with financial mentoring from an older member of the team, the two are looking to build on this year skill and numbers wise and bring the program back to its competitive edge it once had. Stay tuned to our Facebook page as we are putting ideas out for next years uniforms! A preview has been posted to the right.

About

We are a collegiate level club lacrosse team at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. We are run by undergraduate students and coached by a local individual who had numerous years of coaching at the club level. We welcome players of all levels and only practice twice a week to accomodate the busy schedules of Carnegie Mellon students. We are in the National Lacrosse League and play teams with two hours of the university.
